Obituary of Douglas "Wayne" Baxter

The death of Douglas 'Wayne' Baxter, companion of Joan Marie Ruttan, occurred on April 29, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Ronald Douglas and Frances Marie (Foster) Baxter. He was a hard working person being employed with Vet's Taxi for over 40 years. He is also survived by his sons Kevin (Krista) Baxter, Paul (Denise) Baxter, Bruce (Shelley) Baxter, all of Saint John, his step-children Ann Marie Kroll (Joseph) of Hampton, Russell (Barb) Ruttan of Saint John, Danny Ruttan of Saint John, his sister Sharon Carr of Saint John, grandchildren Kyle, Jonathan, Travis, Jeff, Meghan, Evan and Emily. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2005, at 1:00 pm, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
