Obituary of Sarah Josephine Jones

JONES, SARAH JOSEPHINE.- The death of Sarah Josephine Jones, of 55 Magazine Street, Saint John, wife of the late David K. Jones, occurred on Sunday, October 5, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Dr. W. E. and Josephine (Hutchinson) Rowley. Mrs. Jones was Book Keeper/Accountant for various companies in Saint John, most of her working career. She was an active life member of St. John's (Stone) Church and was their envelope secretary and treasurer for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Ann Clayton (Chris) of Saint John, one sister, Margaret Kinghorn of Fredericton, NB, one niece and one nephew. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at St. John's (Stone) Church, Carleton Street, Saint John, on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to St. John's (Stone) Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
