Obituary of Marie Thelma Lamb

The death of Marie Lamb, wife of Merlin Lamb of Lakewood Ave., Saint John, NB occurred on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Murray) Devine, Marie had been employed with N.B. Telephone Co. as an operator and later in administration. Survived by her husband; one son, Kerry (Tina Davis) of Fredericton; one daughter, Heather Marie Lamb (Gerald Leavitt) of Saint John; one grandchild, Shakira; two aunts and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday and Tuesday, January 12 & 13, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim's Church, Loch Lomond Road, Saint John on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
