Obituary of Jean Mariam Cunningham

The death of Jean Mariam Cunningham of Mount Pleasant Avenue, East, Saint John, NB, wife of the late Kenneth Murray Cunningham, occurred on February 19, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Frederick A. and Margaret A. (Boyce) Davis. She was a long time resident of Saint John and took great pride in raising her family. Surviving are her sons, Jon K. of Saint John, Ivan M. (Tiny) and his wife Susan of Saint John; her daughters, Barbara J. MacLeod and Peggee Cunningham, both of Saint John; her grandchildren, Krista O'Leary (Edward), Jon (Christina), Ken and Mary K. Cunningham, Sara and Natalie Cunningham and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, Robert Davis and her sister, Doris Anderson predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2004, at 1:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
