Obituary of Miles Edgar Boone

The death of Miles Edgar Boone, of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, husband of the late Grace (Stevenson) Boone, occurred on Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Elizabeth A. (Jordan) Boone. Mr. Boone was a Longshoreman with the Port of Saint John for 45 years, before his retirement and was a member of the International Longshoreman's Association Union. He is survived by one son, Allen Boone (Patricia) of Grand Bay-Westfield, one sister, Minnie Carpenter, of Saint John, two grandsons, Malcolm (Nancy) of Clarendon and Trent of Blagdon, three step-grandchildren, Wendy Bowles of Calgary, AB, Brenda Charlton of Hoyt and Shane Ogden of Hamilton, ON, one great-grandchild, 8 step-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. By request there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A private family graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
