Obituary of Lillian Jean Humphrey

The death of Lillian Jean Humphrey, wife of Carl David Humphrey, occurred on June 6, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of Mary (Roberts) McDonald and the late Harold Willar. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her sons Bruce Humphrey and his wife Maria of Saint John, Richard Humphrey and his wife Angela of Saint John, her daughter Carla Humphrey and her husband David McCashion of Saint John, her brothers Fred Willar and his wife Eunice of Saint John, Donald Willar (Carol) of Saint John, Gordon Willar of Ontario, her sisters Katherine Keeling (Harold) of London, Ont, Connie Schritt (Henry) Selkirk, Man., Lawanda Willar of Ottawa, Ont, Dorthy Willar of Saint John, Grace Willar (Jim) of London, Ont, and her step-sister Evelyn Sproul of Saint John, her grandchildren Matthew, Barbara Jean, Steven, David, Alexis, Bradley and Brandon, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step-brothers Wally Willar and Robert Willar, and her step-sisters Doris Henderson and Irene Baraby. Although there will not be visiting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), following cremation there will be a memorial service on Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at 11:00 AM, from St. Judes Church, Lancaster Street. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
