Obituary of LaVernia Doris Bailey

The passing of LaVernia Doris Bailey, 58, occurred on Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Digby, NS, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Dorothy A. (Bright) Hill. Mrs. Bailey came to Saint John and worked as a successful Hairstylist for many years. She was a faithful and devout Jehovah's Witness, as well as a loyal and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was well loved by all and will be greatly missed She is survived by her husband, David E. Bailey, two sons, David A. Bailey and his wife Lesa and Jonathan W. Bailey, one daughter, Alisa M. Bailey, grand daughter, Emily Anne Bailey, all of Saint John, three brothers, Philip Cromwell (BC), Fred Hill (NS) and Gary Hill (Quebec), three sisters, Alberta Gacii (Nairobi), Betty Lou Miller (NB) and Alfreda Hill (BC) and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 67 Magazine Street, Saint John (Next to Fort Howe), on Thursday, October 9, 2003 at 2:00 PM.
