Obituary of Gail Marie Asselstine

The death of Gail Marie Asselstine, wife of Robert Asselstine, occurred on March 20, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Eileen (Staddon) Wilson. Besides her husband she is survived by her sons; Robert (Spring), Timothy (Kim), daughters; Susan Wilson, Tanya Wilson (Lawrence), Michelle Asselstine, her brother Paul Wilson (Ann), all of Kingston, sister Nancy Ouellette of Saint John, special sister Marlene Morton, best friend Judy Legacy, grandchildren; Benjamin, Alyssa, Kamryn, Brooke, Robert and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Kenneth Jr. and Robert Wilson and sisters Noreen Wilson and Susanne Asselstine. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, at 11:00 am, from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in the Spring at the Kingston Baptist Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
