Obituary of Frederick John Cullen

The death of Fred Cullen, husband of Rose (Lee) Cullen occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Thursday, August 2, 2007. He was born in Saint John on February 1, 1933 to the late Frederick and Sybil (Wills) Cullen. Fred was first employed with C.P.R. Trucking Division, than he was an Operating Engineer, operating heavy equipment. He was a member of Four Square Pentecostal Church in Kingston. Besides, Rose his wife, Fred is survived by three sons: Steven (Mary) of Milford, Allan of Kingston and Michael Morrel of Saint John; three daughters: Laura Cullen of Saint John, Roxanne (John) Raynes of Kingston and Rosemary (Carl) Paynes of Milford; four brothers: William of Wickham, Paul and Ronald both of Saint John and Raymond of Grand Bay-Westfield; one sister: Brenda Cullen of Egypt; seven grandchildren: Rosemary, Michael, B.J., Andrew, Dan, Jill, and Ben and four great grandchildren: Mikayla, Ethan, Brandon and Austin. He was predeceased by his parents; one son: Frederick Jr.; one sister: Barbara Poutney and two brothers: Harry and Frank Cullen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 10 am. Interment in Harding’s Point Loyalist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the charity of the donor’s choice.
