Obituary of Cheryl Brenda Fader
The death of Cheryl Brenda (Gorman) Fader of Saint John, NB, occurred on Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Campbellton, NB, on October 5, 1949, she was a Registered Nurse employed by AHSC until her retirement in 1999. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Charlotte Gorman (MacIntyre) of Boutiliers Point, Halifax County, and one brother, James of Simms Settlement, NS. Cheryl is survived by daughters Angela Fader of Saint John, NB and Sandra Johnson of Hampton, NB; two grandchildren, Blake and Alex Johnston; three sisters, Glenda Bonang (Dwight) of Dartmouth, NS, Kaye Boutilier (Darrell) of Dartmouth, NS, and Arlene Crews (Claude) of Queensland, NS; five brothers, John of Halifax, Richard of Halifax, Gilbert of Halifax, Reginald of Georgetown, and Timothy of Halifax; as well as several nieces and nephews. Cheryl was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and had a calling of Nursery School Teacher. Her passions included rug hooking with The Tearoom Hookers of Sussex, NB; painting; and she belonged to the knitting club of LDS. She loved most of all being with her two grandchildren and the times she spent fishing and bike riding with them. Visitation will take place at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 12:00 Noon until 2:15 PM, at which time the funeral service will be held. Interment will take place at a later date.
