Obituary of Robert George Simpson

Robert George Simpson of Saint John, NB passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 86. Born in Vancouver, BC, a son of the late Francis and Agnes Simpson. He was predeceased by his wife Vera Cecilia (Lundrigan). Survived by his son, Lee (Stefanie Pagliaro), grandsons, Robert & Dylan, all of Toronto, ON; his daughter, Roberta McLaughlin (Nelson Thorne) of Quispamsis, NB; sister, Agnes Last of Coquitlam, BC; brothers: Dave (Edith) and Jim (Margaret), both of Burnaby, BC and Frank (Lorraine) of Maplecrest, BC. Bob was employed with Maple Leaf Foods for over 30 years. He was a devoted family man, who cared for everyone and was well loved by his friends for his dry sense of humour. Bob was a veteran of WWII. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2007 from Holy Trinity Church, Liverpool, NS. Interment will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Saint John.
