Obituary of Ann B. Waller

The death of Ann Beatrice (Cooper) Waller of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Harry Franklin Waller, occurred on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Allan and Jennie (Goodwin) Cooper. Ann was employed as a clerk with Towers Department Store. She was a member of Silver Falls United Church, a graduate of Saint John High School and Saint John Vocational School. Ann loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her neighborhood bridge club, dancing, exercising at the YMCA, camping, and summer vacations in Maine. In 1994, she celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with husband Harry. She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Ruth) Waller and Peter (Lori) Waller, both of Saint John; one brother, Charlie (Margaret) Cooper of Kentville, NS; two sisters, Doris Ring of Saint John and Catherine (Leslie) Robertson of Sussex; four grandchildren, Tanya, Todd, Katie and Keith; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Emma; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by brother, Clarence; sister, Elizabeth “Betty”; brothers-in-law, Don Ring and Dick Rolston; sister-in-law, Rose. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, August 6, 2007 and Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saint John.
