Obituary of Leola Frances Ward

Ward, Leola Frances – Miss Leola Frances Ward of Saint John, NB passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. Leola resided on Douglas Avenue for over 80 years and worked primarily with the Federal Unemployment Insurance Commission. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Herbert and Charlotte (Pidgeon) Ward. She is survived by nephews: Bruce, Philip and Richard Ward and close family friend, Dorothy (Erik) Kraglund. She was predeceased by her brother Art. She was a member of St. Luke’s Church, Saint John and a life member of the IODE. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Friday, June 8, 2007from 1 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:15 pm from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Arthritis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
