Obituary of Clifford Arthur Herrell

After a brief illness, the death of Clifford Arthur Herrell, husband of the late Helen (Baxter) Herrell, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 17, 2007. He was born on October 5, 1935 in St. Patricks, PE to the late Cornelius and Margaret (Gallant) Herrell. Clifford worked for years at Lantic Sugar, before moving on to Kincade Rental Properties, working there until his retirement. Clifford is survived by two sons: Randy (Lynn) and Kennie (Bonnie); one daughter Ruth (David) Branscombe; seven grandchildren: Amanda, Joshua (Sara), Nathan, Patrick and Shannon Herrell and Justin and Chantel Branscombe; one brother Leo (Bernice); four sisters: Annie (the late Ernest) Warren, Velda (Albert) Bell, Nora (Lawrence) Campbell and Gloria (the late Gerald) Batchilder; four brothers in-law Malcolm (Delcia) and Ernie (Elaine) Baxter, Tom (Diane) Flaglor and Lorne Grant; two sisters in-law Verna (Paul) Nagle and Helen (the late Vernon) Herrell and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Clifford was predeceased by two sisters: Verda (the late Tom) George and Eileen Grant, his twin brothers Maynard (the late Vera) and Vernon Herrell. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB with visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will held from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 11 am. Interment in the spring, in Barnesville Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation.
