Obituary of Abigail Cedine McCarthy

The tragic death of Abigail Cedine McCarthy, child of Peter and Alice, occurred on August 1, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John on May 6, 2005. Besides her parents she is survived by her brother Tristan ‘Bobo’, grandparents Peter and Linda McCarthy, Dixie Currie and Kent LeBlanc, Nancy McCarthy and Willard Jenkins, Nanny Kay and the late Terry Doucette, great-grandparents Salim ‘Bud’ and Cecilia Shalala, aunts and uncles Teri, Aaron (Nina), Jonathan, Robbie, Jimmy, Jenny (Jared), Twila (Jody), Tanya (Gerry), cousins Baby Brayden, godmother Tara, Travis, Natasha, Mellissa, Jesselynn, Madelynn, Evelynn, Sarah, Ethan, Brooke, Nathan and Isabel, her caregivers and special family Crystal, Sarah and Chris, Johnny Walsh and Heather, godfather Mark Tanfara and several great aunts, uncles and cousins. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 10:30 am, from St. Peter’s Church, Clarendon Street. Remembrances made to the Pediatric Department of the Saint John Regional Hospital would be appreciated.
