Obituary of Elizabeth Joan Davidson

The death of Elizabeth (Betty) Joan Davidson of Hatfield Point, NB, wife of Robert Davidson, occurred on Monday, February 02, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John on June 8, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Winifred (Vincent) Johnson. Elizabeth worked as an RNA for 35 years with the Saint John General and Regional Hospitals, and retired in 1999 as a ward secretary for the emergency department of the Saint John Regional Hospital. Survived by her loving husband, Robert, two sons, Andrew (Joanne) of Rothesay, NB; Michael of Saint John, NB; one sister, Jean Main of Apohaqui, NB; sister-in-law, Lois Logue (Brian) of Saint John, NB; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline (Roberts) Davidson. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. At the request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral service following cremation. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society, Canadian Blood Services, or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
