Obituary of Patrick Thomas Hodd

Hodd, Patrick Thomas – After a courageous battle with cancer, the death of Patrick Hodd of Saint John, NB, husband of Nicole McFarlane, occurred on Friday, September 5, 2008 at his parents home. Born in Halifax, NS on February 24, 1982, he was the son of Gerard and Lois (Lord) Hodd. Patrick loved to fish and play his guitar. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Canadiens fan. He is survived by his loving wife Nicole McFarlane; two children, Abigail and Samuel Hodd; parents, Gerard and Lois Hodd of Barnesville, NB; brother, Kevin Hodd of Barnesville; grandparents, Alfred and Jacqueline Lord of McAdam, NB; parents-in-law, Robert and Christine McFarlane; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Francis and Joan Hodd. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. At the request of the family there will not be any visiting at the funeral home. A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 1 pm. Reception to follow the service at Brenan’s Funeral Home. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
