Obituary of Ralph Murray Kilcup

Ralph Murray Kilcup, retired City of Saint John Fireman (1943-1974) passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Sussex Health Centre at the age of 91. He was the husband of the late Frances P (Grant) Kilcup (1999) and son of the late Hector P and Bessie (King) Kilcup. Ralph had been a resident of Saint John for most of his life before retiring to Sussex; he enjoyed fly fishing and reading newspapers and magazines. As the last surviving member of his immediate family he was predeceased by his brothers, Gerald and Roy. Survived by his children, Jack and Betty of Saint John and Kevin of Halifax, NS; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 10 am. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only please, remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
