Obituary of Malcolm Demille Peters

Peters, Malcolm Demille … The death of Malcolm Demille Peters of Bains Corner, NB, occurred on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 22, 1936 in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late Katherine Marie Peters. Malcolm was a retired machinist. He is survived by two sons, Leonard “Lenny” of Toronto, ON and Quincey of Saint John; a daughter, Kimberley of Saint John; Selena (Craig) Allen, to whom he was guardian; four sisters, Louise Parker, Elaine Koivisto, Mary Easter Kennedy (Vaughn) and Katherine “Rosebud” McCarthy, all four of Saint John; four brothers, Clarence (Lucy) McCarty of Ottawa, Harold (Sandra) McCarty and Edward (Belinda) McCarty, both of Saint John and Vernon (Shirley McCarty; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Katherine Marie (Peters) McCarty; a son, M. Wolfred Peters; two brothers, Victor and Johnny McCarty. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 2:30 pm. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
