Obituary of Eric R. Dole

Eric Robb Dole of Saint John passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John on August 29, 1948, he was a son of the late Robert T. and Pauline A. (Rafuse) Dole. Eric was a graduate of Saint John Vocational High School and Ryerson Polytechnic Institute. He as employed for many years as a Public Health Inspector, and was a former member of the Lions Club. He was Anglican by faith. Eric is survived by his daughter, Margaret of Saint John; a brother, Randol Dole (Gloria) of Saint John; and two nephews, Kenneth and Robert (Robbie). In addition to his parents, Eric was predeceased by a brother, Peter. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:30 PM from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
