Obituary of Donna "Lorraine" Hughes

Donna "Lorraine" Hughes of Saint John passed away on September 20, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September 5, 1949, in Sussex, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Jennie-Mae (Prosser) Richardson. She is survived by her children, Barbara (James) Howlett, Bertha Hughes, Theresa Hughes, Russell Hughes, Heather Hughes; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 5 sisters; 3 brothers. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Hughes. Although there will be no visitation time, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family, in lieu of flowers.
