Obituary of Brian Douglas Chase

Brian Douglas Chase It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Brian Douglas Chase of Quispamsis, NB, at Saint John Regional Hospital, on January 19, 2015 after a period of failing health. Husband of 37 years to Lynn Chase (Saunders). Born 1953 in Saint John, NB, to Connie and the late Doug Chase. He is survived by his Mother, Connie; brother, Dr. Paul Chase (Charline); Aunt Irene Smythe, (Fred Manzer); Uncle’s Bert Nelson (Sandra); Ken Nelson (Joan); Carl Nelson (Kathy); and many cousins; brothers and sisters in law, Bob and Angela Saunders; Debbie and Bob Higgins; Kim and Wade Beaman; Jim and Krista Saunders and their children. Brian was a graduate of UNBSJ and was a pharmaceutical sales representative for the majority of his working life. After his father’s retirement, Brian took over his parent’s business Quality Carpets, and was a former director and vice president of the KV Chamber of Commerce, member of U.C.T. and Ducks Unlimited, KV Chapter, and also had a passion for politics. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, and their hobby farm in Quispamsis. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB with visiting on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 2-8 pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11 am from Brenan’s Chapel, Paradise Row. A private family interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Brian’s memory to Bobby’s Hospice or the Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
