Obituary of Ralph Wayne Hatto

The death of Ralph Hatto occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 14, 2013. He was born on May 15, 1942 in Fredericton to Helene (Silliker) Hatto and the late Ralph V. Hatto. Ralph worked at the Saint John Shipyard as a welder for many years until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His other passion was playing cards with Donnie and Billy the games of choice were cribbage and poker. He is survived by his children: Cindy Riley (John) of Quispamsis, Sherri ‘Lynn’ Gallant (Steve) of Saint John and John ‘Wayne’ Hatto of Kitimat, BC; mother of his children: Mary (Marsh) Hatto; brother, Donald Hatto of Rothesay and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). At Ralph’s request there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances to the Cancer Society or B obby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family. "My Life's been full, I savoured much, Good friends, good times, a loved one' touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free."
