He lived and worked in no fewer than thirty communities crisscrossing Canada four times from Charlottetown, PE to Burnaby, BC and he lived in many communities in between. During his work tenure he became involved in many Business Associations, and Chamber of Commerce Groups, always accepting an official position at the administrative level thus taking a leader ship role in the various organisations. He was also involved in the administration of minor sports in most communities that he lived and served. Before retiring and returning to his hometown, Saint John, Bill lived in Carnduff, SK for 27 years, owning and operating the town’s weekly newspaper for twenty-five of those years while at the same time serving as Treasurer of the Carnduff District Lions Club for Twenty-five years. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday October 28, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 6:30-8pm.
