Obituary of Ronald H. Trenholm

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ronald H. Trenholm which occurred at home on September 12, 2014. Ron was born on June 24, 1958 in Charlottetown P.E.I. He was the son of the late Rev. Herman and Margaret (Harguay) Trenholm. Ron was the loving husband of Dianne Trenholm (Fitzgerald) and the loving and caring father of Devin (Melissa), Catlin (Ashley) both of Saint John, and we also helped to raise Tanya Barsalou also of Saint John. He absolutely loved his little grandson Jaden. Whenever you mentioned his named his eyes would sparkle. Ron is survived by his brother Richard (Pat) of Ontario; sisters Ruth and Rose (Jeff) of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. Ron worked for Moosehead Breweries however, he was on long term disability due to several health problems. Ron has gone through much pain in adult life, however, we may now rest assure that he is finally at peace. Ron was predeceased by his mom, dad, sister, Becky and brother-in-law, Robert. Ron will be missed by family members and friends. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, with visiting on Sunday, September 14 and Monday, September 15, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held at Brenan’s Chapel, on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in Hampton Rural Cemetery. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Also at this time the family would like to thank all the staff on 4C North, Extra Mural, Integrity and family members, and most of all to Dr. Ginnette Griffen for her love and support.
