Obituary of Robert Paul Keyes

The death of Robert Keyes of Saint John, husband of Karen (Millican) Keyes occurred on Monday, January 20, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on July 28, 1943, he was the son of the late Clarence and Pauline (Fennell) Keyes. In addition to his wife, Bobby is also survived by daughters, Amanda Keyes (Toby Walker) of Saint John and Susan Keyes (Gaetan Beaulieu) of Edmundston; sister, Susan Preston (Gerry) of Saint John; brothers, Herbie Keyes (Pat) and Clarence Keyes (Charlene) both of Saint John; grandchildren, Emma, Alex, Evan, Elijah and Noah; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, John "Jackie" Keyes. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 24, 2014, at 12:00 Noon. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
