I want to thank you for always lending an ear For all those days I needed you near. I want to thank you for being so stern By teaching me I will have to live and learn. I want to thank you for these last years To have the opportunity to know how much you really cared. I want to thank you for doing your best For keeping us all safe like birds in a nest. I want to thank you for our family crest That I will honour and wear proudly on my chest. I will think of you Dad while I set at the pew Just knowing in my heart that I will live through you. I want to thank God for his bliss That He has honoured my dad, and allowed him to rest. Love always, your son Tim Dad, I want to say thank you for always being there, never judging me in the way I lived my life. You have taught me to "Stand Tall" and never be afraid of a challenge, and if there are times that I fell, to never give up and get back up. So I thank you for the "backbone" that allowed me to be the "man I am today". Rest in peace dad! Love always, your son Mark
