Obituary of Lillian Margaret Bradford

The death of Lillian Bradford of Saint John, wife of the late Hazen J. Bradford, occurred on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at her residence in Turnbull Nursing Home. Born April 24, 1925 in Prince Edward Island, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Myra (Hardy) Watts. Lillian was a bookkeeper and stenographer at the Bank of Nova Scotia for nearly 25 years prior to her retirement. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Kimberlea Bradford (Carl Adams); son, James Bradford; grandchildren, Mark Willson (Laura) and Cynthia Willson; great-grandchildren: Rose, Jade, and Duncan; brothers: Cecil and Dean; sisters, Elizabeth MacArthur, Marina Pyle, Emily Joyce Johnson, and Verna O’Donnell; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Lillian was predeceased by her daughters, Daphne and Brenda; brothers: Raymond, Nelson, Robert, and Edison; and sisters: Sadie, Rose, Adele, and Erma. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 2 pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring.
