Obituary of Julia Taylor

The death of Julia Taylor of Saint John, wife of the late William Taylor occurred on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at her home. Born in Ireland on December 9, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Kate (Sullivan) Cullinane. Sheila is survived by her children, Ann Blanchard of Saint John, Thomas Taylor (Donna) of Houston, TX, Wilma Gillen (Brian) of Milton, ON, John F. Taylor of Saint John and Katherine Goguen (Patrick) of Grand Bay-Westfield; daughter-in-law, Pam (Weston) Taylor of Saint John; sister-in-law, Teresa Cullinane of Ireland, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Kevin and brother, Dermot. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, January 14, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church, Somerset Street, Saint John on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
