Obituary of Eileen May Robertson

The death of Eileen M. Robertson, wife of the late W. Arden Robertson, of Saint John, occurred on August 5, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Barnesville, NB on January 24, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Queenie L. (Osbourne) Rodgers. Eileen in her later years resided in Hampton and was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church. She previously lived in Lakewood Heights and was a member of St. James Lakewood and the A.C.W. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Eileen was predeceased by her son Peter and her sister Myrtle. She is survived by three daughters: Nancy Pitts (Douglas), Patricia Gallery (Terry) and Heather Whitaker (Bruce); two sons: John Robertson and Paul Robertson (Paulette); daughter-in-law Lana; sister Doreen McKee (John). Sixteen grandchildren: Michelle, Kris, Timothy, Aaron, Devin, Karla Jean, Amy, Andrew, Korey, Krista, Ashleigh, Karla Marie, Bryan, Tom, Caitlin and Jordon; sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Eileen is resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Hampton with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
