Obituary of Randolph Douglas Nicholson

It is with sadness that the family of Rand Nicholson announces his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Rand was born in Saint John on December 11, 1949 to the late Margaret (Lamont) and the late N. Douglas Nicholson. He is survived by his long time companion, Carol Myles; his brother, Jim (Bev); nephew, Geordie (Lisa) and grand nephew, Jamie of Saskatoon; niece, Sarah of Vancouver; aunts, uncles and cousins. As per Rand’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. If you wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation. Special thanks to Dr. Peter West, Dr. Paul Sohi, the nurses and doctors of the Nephrology Department of the Saint John Regional Hospital and the nurses and staff of 4CN and SICU 1 for their special care, understanding and concerns over the last seven years.
