Obituary of Margaret Alma Robson

The peaceful passing of Margaret Robson of the Kingston Peninsula, beloved wife of the late Arthur "Art" Robson occurred on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at her home with her family by her side. Born on February 8, 1917, she was the daughter of the late William and Georgie (Reid) Thompson. Muggie always enjoyed a good game of Crazy 8s and Yahtzee. She was an avid Bingo player and loved to read. Muggie took great comfort in spending time at her summer home on the Kingston Peninsula with those she loved. However, her greatest joy in life was her family. The special times spent with her daughter and grandchildren were always held close to her heart. She will be sadly missed. Muggie is survived by her daughter, Tanya Robson Cox (Kevin) of the Kingston Peninsula; special grandchildren, Shanan Melvin (Michael) of Saint John, Luke Melvin of Nerepis and Megan Melvin (Barry) of the Kingston Peninsula; precious great-grandchildren, Riley Margaret Melvin Rice and Alivia Dawn Gilbert; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Audrey and brothers, Edison, Stanley, Walter and Harry. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, September 29 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
