Obituary of Grace Isabella Landry

The death of Grace Landry of Saint John occurred peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2013, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September, 12, 1929 in Kenora, ON, she was the daughter of the late Courtney Goddard and Nancy (Finlayson) Goddard-Fagen. Grace devoted her life to caring for her family and treasured the times they spent together. She will always be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Grace is survived by her children, Nancy Landry (Chris) of Edmonton, AB, Grace Doucette (Ronald) of Harrington, PEI, Leesa Landry (Derek Flood) of Ontario, Terry Chan (David) of Washington, Michael Landry (Karen) and Timothy Landry Jr. (Carolyn), all of Saint John; son-in-law, Sam Jensen of British Columbia; siblings, Florence Clancy, Joanne Dempsey and Raymond Goddard; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Tina Winters; the father of her children, Timothy Landry Sr. and brothers, Jackie, Georgie, Billy and Allison. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, at a later date.
