Obituary of David Logan Lester

Lester, David Logan – With heavy hearts, the family of Dave Lester, husband of Marilyn Lester, announce his passing which occurred Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on May 16, 1936 he was the son of the late LeMert and Marion (Logan) Lester. He will be missed by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Valerie Beaumont (Paul), Laurie Greenslade (Donnie) and Sharon Paugh (Claude); a sister, Debbie Cowan (Bill); four grandchildren; one great grandchild and one nephew. In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by a grandson, David Greenslade. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) As per Dave’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service, which will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
