Obituary of Stephen Lawson McGrath

The death of Steve McGrath, husband of the late Doris (Babineau) (Garnett) McGrath, occurred December 24, 2014 at his residence. Born August 14, 1952 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Edward Lawson and Gladys May (Mercer) McGrath. Steve is survived by his daughter, Amanda Campbell; step-sons, Norman and John Garnett; step-daughters, Tammy and Patricia Garnett; sisters: Phyllis Titus (William), Diane McRae (Blaine), and Gladys; brothers: Peter, Paul, Wayne, and Fred (Patricia); several nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, Doris, he was predeceased by brothers: Edward, Arthur, and Terry; and a sister, Gail Brideau. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, which will be held December 30, 2014 at 11am at St. Joseph’s Church, 4347 Loch Lomond Road, with interment to follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
