Obituary of Pauline E. Fancy

Pauline Elenore Fancy passed away on February 2, 2015 at Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 6, 1924 in East Public, NS she was a daughter of the late Edgar A. and Cara (Blades) Larkin. Pauline and her husband Jack spent their first 23 years in Truro raising their children and in 1972 went into full time ministry with the Wesleyan Church serving in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Maine. Surviving are her children Rev. Rupert "Bud" (Irene) Fancy; Brenda (Rev. Wayne) Robertson; daughter-in-law Twylla Fancy; grandchildren Jeffery (Nicole) Fancy; Trevor Fancy; Seth (Leanne) Fancy; Alicia Robertson; Zachary (Erin) Fancy; Lauren Robertson; Taylor Fancy; great grandchild, Kayla Fancy; sister, Doris (Kenneth) Peters and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Rev. John "Jack" D. Fancy; son, Bruce Fancy; daughter-in-law, Kathy Fancy; sisters, Esther Lynds and Evelyn Adams; brothers, Lester Larkin and Rupert Larkin. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 6-8 pm also from 12 until funeral time on Thursday, from Kings Valley Wesleyan Church, 332 Hampton Road, Quispamsis and from where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at Eanon Cemetery, Truro at a later date. A special thanks to Pauline’s loving caregivers Nancy and Doug Betteridge. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting gifts and memorials to help support Alicia Robertson, Pauline’s granddaughter who is a missionary in the Czech Republic, which may be sent to: Atlantic District of the Wesleyan Church, 1830 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB E1G 1A9; or Houlton Wesleyan Church, P.O.
