Obituary of Edward Cecil Herrington

Peacefully after a period of failing health at the Carleton Kirk Lodge in Saint John on Saturday, June 7, 2014. Ted resided in Saint John area except for a few years in Sussex. He was a son of the late Bayard S. and Mary B. (Doucet) Herrington. Ted is survived by his brother, B. Maxwell ‘Max’ Herrington (Nancy); nephew, Bruce Herrington (Lisa); nieces: Beth Jones (Brett) and Mary-Ann Roy (Rick); great-nieces: Abby, Katie and Mallory Herrington and Tessa Jones and great-nephew, Morgan Roy. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private committal service will be held in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank Coulton’s Special Care Home and the Carleton Kirk Lodge for their professional care and attention to Ted in his final years. For those who wish, remembrances to the Carleton Kirk, Coulton’s or any charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
