Obituary of Ernest Lynwood Ricketts

Ernest Lynwood Ricketts passed away on February 8, 2015 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 7, 1927 he was a son of the late Albert E. and Elsie Ricketts. Ernest is survived by his wife, Marjorie; son, Kevin Ricketts (Jean), Dartmouth, NS; daughter-in-law, Dina LeBlanc, Saint John; sister, Gale Jones, Saint John; grandchildren, Gabriel, Tony, Shawn and Gary Ricketts as well as many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son, Lynwood Ricketts; brothers, John; Albert and his wife Cynthia Ricketts. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 4 - 7 pm at Brenan’s Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place, on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11 am at St. John the Baptist and St. Clements (Mission Church), 815 Millidge Avenue. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances made to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
