Obituary of Hazel J.D. Butcher

Hazel J. D. Butcher passed away on February 28, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. A resident of Embassy Hall (Shannex), Hazel was born in Saint John New Brunswick. She was the daughter of the late Ruby (DeWitt) and S. John Butcher. Hazel graduated from Modern Business College and was employed at the Workers Compensation Board until retirement. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Anglican Church. Hazel is survived by several cousins. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home. Although there is no visitation, friends and family will gather for a funeral at Brenan’s Chapel on, Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 10 AM. Interment at Fernhill Cemetery will follow. Donations in Hazel’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
