Obituary of Royden James Morrow

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Royden James Morrow on October 25, 2015 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 10, 1925 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Vincent and Greta (Long) Morrow. Royden was a veteran of World War II and a lifelong member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was a salesman, firstly for Lanes Bakery and then for Dares Food Canada. Surviving are his children, Gregory (Mona) Morrow, St. John’s; Nancy (James) Thibodeau, Saint John; grandchildren, Gregory (Jennifer) Morrow, Hay River, NT their daughter, Reese Alice Morrow and Michael (Katherine) Morrow, Halifax, NS their son Douglas Royden; sister-in-law, Shirley Morrow, Burlington, ON; several nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as many close friends and neighbours in Morna and Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing. Royden was predeceased by his loving wife, Alice (Burns); sisters, Phyllis Barber and Betty Voss; and brother, James Morrow. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, with visitation on Thursday, October 29 from 2-4 and to 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be celebrated from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, 30 October at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
