Obituary of Robert Wellesley Raynes

The death of Robert Wellesley Raynes of Saint John, NB occurred on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB a son of the late George Beck and the late Rena McKnight. Survived by his wife, Bonnie Raynes; two sons, Robert (Lisa LeBlanc) and Clayton (Chantal Doucette) of Saint John; three daughters: Catherine (Mark Finnigan) of Saint John, Tanya of Hampton and Jessica Hubley of Saint John; three brothers: Russell “Buddy” (Christine) and George (Robin) of Saint John and Melvin McKnight (Lucy Devost) of Baxters Corner; half-brother, Maze Beck (Lois) of Saint John; one sister, Susan Coates (Dale) of Saint John; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 1 pm. Interment at a later date on the Kingston Peninsula. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
