Obituary of Murray Thomas Thompson

The death of Murray Thomas Thompson of Saint John, NB occurred on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on May 3, 1925, he was a son of the late William and Mildred (Beatty) Thompson. Murray was a retired longshoreman having worked at the Port of Saint John. Survived by his companion, Violet Peterson; one brother, Roy; four sisters: Elva (Joseph) Steele, Carol Dallon, Marion (Willard) Armstrong and Norma (Arthur) Dunn; a special friend, Nancy Gardiner; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers: Arthur and infant Theodore; one sister, Ada Armstrong. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday evening from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
