Obituary of Douglas C. Gray

Gray, Douglas C. … The death of Douglas C. Gray of Evandale, NB, husband of Frances (Wright) Gray, occurred on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Hampstead, NB on February 18, 1926, son of the late Sidney J. and Susie L. (McKnight) Gray. Doug had been employed with the Department of Forestry, Brown’s Flat. Survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Frances; his daughter, Nancy (Allan) Bogle of Oak Point, NB; two sisters: Mabel Harrison of Toronto, ON and Ethel (Wallace) Craig of Martinon, NB; two grandsons: Ryan and Trevor; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by three brothers: Roy, Jim and Medley, and one sister, Marion Lyttle. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:15 pm. Interment will be in Oak Point Baptist Cemetery in the spring.
