Obituary of Anna B. Bailey

The death of Anna “Ann” B. Bailey of 14 King Square South, Saint John, wife of the late Arnold Aubrey Bailey, occurred on Monday, May 7, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Shettleston, Scotland on March 2, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Steven and Elizabeth (McClymont) Fleming. Mrs. Bailey was the Payroll Clerk at Eastern Paper Products for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the New Brunswick Senior’s Federation and past president of the Admiral Beatty Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by one son, Ronald Fleming Bailey (Linda) of Washington State, one daughter, Joy Elizabeth VanTassel (James) of Perth Andover and three grandchildren, Sarah Joy, Lynn Alison and Katherine Megan VanTassel. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
