Obituary of Ronald Raymond Nickerson

The death of Ronald Raymond Nickerson of Rothesay, NB, husband of Joyce (Daley) Nickerson, occurred on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, a son of the late Walter and Hazel (Huskins) Nickerson. Ronald enjoyed bowling and fun darts and loved country music and playing guitar. He had been employed at the Saint John Dry Dock and with Shannon Security at Brunswick Square. Survived by his wife, Joyce; two children, Andrew (Meghan) of Fredericton, NB and Stacy Nickerson at home; three brothers: Alden (Linda) of Oshawa, ON, Paul (Eunice) of Halifax, NS, Lawrence (Kim) of the Kingston Peninsula, NB; three sisters: Carolyn (Harold) Keleher of Dartmouth, NS, Donna (Raymond) James of Rothesay, Ann Marie (Joseph) Gallant of Quispamsis, NB; one grandson, Noah; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, Walter “Buddy” and a sister, Frances Russell. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
