Obituary of Beryl Frances Spencer

The death of Beryl Frances (Edgar) Spencer, of Rothesay, NB, wife of the late Frederick Gordon Spencer, occurred peacefully at her residence on Friday, June 8, 2007 at the age of 92. She was a daughter of the late George A. and Ada Satella (Denton) Edgar. She was predeceased by one daughter Susan, sisters; Nita Melick, Dora Swan, Blanche Edgar, Helen Stanger and brothers; Dr. Arthur Edgar and Murray Edgar. Beryl is survived by three daughters; Margot Doyle (David), Vicki Porter and Deborah Ritchie (Bernard) and one son Frederick Spencer (Cathy), eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Peter Stanger and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at St. David’s United Church, Rothesay on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances to the charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated.
