Obituary of Gordon D. Fraser

The death of Gordon Douglas “Bud” Fraser of Saint John West, occurred on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Saint John on May 4, 1924, he was the son of the late Charles W.J. and Georgina (Edwards) Fraser. Bud was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He had been employed with NB Tel for 26 years and the Compensation Board for several years before his retirement. He is survived by his two sisters, Louise Fraser and Blanche Fraser both of Saint John and many friends. By request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery, on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 3:00 PM. Remembrances to the charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated.
