Lacroix, Evelyn Jean … The death of Evelyn Jean Lacroix of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Richard Maurille Lacroix, occurred on Friday, May 2, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on October 28, 1925 a daughter of the late Walter and Katherine (Corbett) McKay. Survived by her companion of many years, William Campbell; two sons, Brian (Paula) of Hillsborough, NB and Roland (Cynthia) of Winnipeg, MB; a daughter, Dawn (Fraser) Kay of Saint John; best friend, Louise Lacroix; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents and her husband; a daughter, Carolyn Jean; two brothers, Fraser and Walter McKay; a sister, Edna McKay. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. By Evelyn’s request there will not be any visiting or funeral service. Remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
