Obituary of Gladys Marion Cook

The death of Gladys Marion Cook of Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, wife of the late Austin L. Cook, occurred on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Upham, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Serena (Trainor) Fowler. Gladys is survived by her children, Ed Cook (Debbie) of Quispamsis, Stephen Cook of Saint John, Harold Cook (Carolyn) of Saint John, Rose Cameron (Murray Skene) of Calgary, Alberta, Ann Dean (Jim Thomas) of Saint John, and Gary Cook of Saint John; a sister, Doris Kuske of Saint John; a brother, Norman Fowler of Sussex; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer, Donnie, Aimee, Adam, Wally, Darcy, Delcy, Josh, Justin, Samantha, and Luke; special friends Ann Wisted and Monica Armstrong; and several nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by a brother, Gordon Fowler. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Upham.
