Obituary of Charles Philip Carter

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles "Chuck" Philip Carter announce his passing, which occurred on October 18, 2013, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Chuck was born on May 20, 1954 in Brigus, NL. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 35 years, Pam and their daughter, Andrea, who he was tremendously proud of and son-in-law, Ben. Chuck will also be missed by his mother, Elizabeth "Betty"; father, Bryant; sister, Joy (Llewelyn); special niece, Vanessa and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by sons, Ryan and Christopher; as well as grandparents, Tom and Mary King. We would like to thank Rev. Dr. Paul Brown, the doctors and staff of 4CN and the very special team at Palliative Care who managed to get our family through a wedding and death in two days. If he could, Chuck would have also liked to say thanks and goodbye to Steve Drummond, Ray Caissie, all his co-workers at Source Atlantic, his friends at Silver Falls United Church and all his pool buddies. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held from Silver Falls United Church, 840 Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at 11:00 AM. For those who wish, remembrances made to Silver Falls United Church, SJRH Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
